All profits from this collaboration will be donated towards rebuilding & restoring the Palisades-Malibu YMCA, which was destroyed in the LA wildfires.

The Speed Project is an invite only relay race where select teams run from Santa Monica pier in LA to the Las Vegas sign - a 340 mile relay. They rent an RV and support their team along the way. A full dedicated crew is necessary behind one of the hardest (and most secretive) relay races in the world.

When Sharon first approached me in collaborating for this project, it was a no-brainer to rep the team from the DMV and assist in however I can. The design concept also came naturally. Using airplanes that make up a “running man”. To me, airplanes represent my immigrant journey of trying to find a place we can call home. The Colors Show is a team made up of individuals with diverse immigrant backgrounds - hence the name. Congratulations to the team in crossing the finish line, what an honor it was to play a small part in it.
